AVATARS

BYE BYE AVATAR

It is our sincerest wish to see these little avatars disappear. We love you for joining, but this site is for sharing and if you aren't going to upload, at least, one picture of yourself, then we will remove you. We will give this time, but hopefully as we start on our journey, this avatar will go bye-bye.

Day #26: It's Not Easy. It's not meant to be Easy.

Here it is Day # 26th and it's been quite the journey!   So far I've been happy!  I've been irritable :( I've been highly optimistic!  I've been pissed off!  Basically, I've been riding an emotional roller coster since the very start of this journey and quite honestly, I see why most people don't stay on the journey. This journey is difficult.  It's…See More

The first time I did the 21 day cleanse from Queen Afua's book Heal Thyself, I was very nervous about the enemas. I ended up buying a saline fleet enema and I was so tense that I couldn't follow through. I have not tried since! Now, I am…

I saw this awhile back and used it in one of my essays for my sexuality class. This makes a lot of sense! We have to be careful of who we let in our temple.

Heal Thyself January 1st 2011

Welcome to all of the new sisters to the circle. I'm excited that after 3 years we are still continuing to grow.  We've seen many sisters come and go leaving us with some great informative guides to continue our journeys.

We will begin HTS on Jan 1, 2012.  If you can not start on this day don't worry you can being when ever you get ready.  The group is open and this journey is about you. Start when you feel you are ready. Don't hold yourself up if you can't buy all of the items listed in the book. Make use of what you have.  A $20 blender and a good knife go a long way.   I suggest that you read you book from front to end then read it again.  It can be a bit confusing on the first go round. I read it several time before I realized something’s I misunderstood.

This journey is yours and only yours. The circle can only support you in your journey.  I say this because I hate seeing sisters become discouraged because other sisters on the circle stray away from their journey. I also hate to see sisters stop because they are not 100%. Don't beat up on self if you are unable to give 100% or complete. This is an ongoing journey at times you will falter. Do the best you can reset when you need to.

Any questions should be posted in the HTS group. There are also old questions that you may want to read over because some sisters have posted some good information.  I also suggest that we check in weekly to share our journeys. This will help to keep us encouraged and not alone in this journey.

Wishing you must love life and happiness in your new journey.

Circle of Sisters TV -

Sisters, Akwaaba/Welcome. Sisters you have entered a wholistic online community re-dedicating itself to fostering change in our actual communities. On this place you can connect with sisters who are dedicated to that change. We encourage you to connect with sisters from your city or just choose to maintain and build your sisterhood relationships on our site. Feel free to post recipes, videos, events, blogs and pictures about your respective journeys or just about life in general . As it is now, the site has many facets and explores permaculture, healthy eating, african-centered childhood education, rites of passage, etc and we want people to overstand that this is what we are all about. There will be no requirements to go on any particular "scheduled" journey. However HTS and SW will still be groups that will continue to run as they have been. Have questions? Ask. This site is not about sitting back and looking. We encourage you to participate.

Knowing what we are about, you have joined, so your life should begin to reflect changes you are striving to establish. We hope that you are inspired to start building community within your homes and neighborhoods with the post that we share. We are all sisters in this struggle. Anchors of our communities.
